Word Search Free App Reviews

MARY L. DAVIS wrote in February 2010 that she wouldnt give this fine app more stars because the developer had not listed any Republicans in the presidential category!!!! How darned petty and ridiculous is THAT, for crying out loud???? Are we in a political venue here or are we evaluating an application to help others decide whether to download it or not? Furthermore, little Ms Davis needs to go back to grade school, as almost all of the listed presidents were either Federalists or Republicans. Sheesh, now Ive seen it all!!! BTW, I am giving this game FIVE stars because the developer earned them, not by sharing my political opinions, but because the app is well designed, has oodles of categories, and I like having the words on a second page to give more of a challenge to try to find all of the words without "peeking" at the list. I also really like the way the solutions are displayed, and I also really, REALLY like the way the word is displayed at the top of the screen as you move the cursor over the letters because so often my hand gets in the way and I cant see if I highlighted all the letters I intended. Another BTW.....I am a red letter Christian (the words of Jesus in the Bible) who votes for the PERSON, not the political party.

Good for u seatac33! Even being a (R), I still vote for the best person, not just the party. Besides that, u r correct, this is a forum to describe thoughts on the game, not complain about incorrect information. As for the review, I only give two stars b/c the app crashes quite a bit. Almost every game. I agree with an earlier comment that I am concerned about even starting a new game b/c if I dont get to finish or if it crashes when I go back to replay only two words are highlighted. I would just rather start anew as opposed to finding the same words Ive already found. Other than the crashes, great design n lots is categories! Give an update to fix bugs n Ill give 5 stars.

Not bad because of the amount of words and levels but the app crashes almost every game and when I go back to the game all the words I found are all but one or two gone! So frustrating :( Fix it please !!

I cant see the words i am supposed to find on the puzzle. There should be a mode that lets u choose which u wud prefer

I really like this app because you have many choices to choose from, but I absolutely hate the ads that pop up!

I have no problem with ad-supported free games, but this is ridiculous.

Honestly, the ads dont bother me at all. I only wish that the game would accept words backwards. Like if you spot the word PLUM but instead of dragging from the P to the M, you drag from the M to the P... If this game did that, I would be very happy. Is that a weird thing to want? Please tell me Im not the only person who wants this.

Deleted it some ad said flirt with sexy singles I have a kid!!!! Seriously could u not do better?!?!

are these reviews even read by the people who make these apps??? If they r, its a great game but if u could put the words on the same page as the word search that wud b awesome!!!! :))

I like this game a lot. I dont even mind flipping back to see the words. Makes me exercise my memory What this game IS missing is some kind of Rank or Achievement to show all the work you put into it. IF this game had that, Id definitely buy it. And those who cant handle looking back to see the words...maybe a 1st graders coloring book would be better for you. If u cant remember words for more than 5 seconds, then go play with a coloring book or maybe get a nice set of blocks you cam stack. Seriously! Sheesh!

Please make one for iPad!!! No one else makes a Word Search without the word list on the same page!!! Youre awesome for that!!!

The interesting thing about this is app is that you can use it over and over for the same puzzle genre, and the words come back in a different place each time. Pretty Cool!

Things I appreciate about this app- the word list is on another screen which gives a major challenge. I also like the options for viewing the list so I can decide how hard I want to work at solving the puzzle. I love that each time I play in a category, the puzzle is different. I like the variety of categories. I have played through all of them at least once and I still love this app. There are more ads than there used to be, but it is free, after all. With so much going for it, I can put up with that.

I love this game because there are so many choices to choose from! I love the setup.
